home sweet home

so.. jus came back frm wonderful Olomouc..... i must say tat i rilly enjoyed the trip...
it was pretty cool!!.... i did learn a lot frm dis trip and had definitely known some ppl better...

basically, our first day was touring in Vienna.. its rilly interesting as we learnt abt their culture
and some stuff abt mozart... seriously, they are rilly big on dis person... as in lyk.. mozart is very popular over there... i also remebered vividly the hotel in vienna which we only stayed for 1 nite... itsway up on the hill and i rilly dunno how to describe it.... it jus looked lyk... very.. "country".... i guess... but de view outside was rilly beautiful.... its lyk a forest ahead and there were mist... its difficult to explain in words... and even if i'd shown u de photo.. u won't see how nice it is unless u've actually been there....

the next few days were spent on touring olomouc, watching other choir sing and rehearsals...
i tink de ppl there are rilly extreme... they are either rilly nice or rilly mean.... but one thing is for sure.. we're lyk aliens to them.. wherever we go, we wld always hav ppl starring at us... and it rilly felt weird... also, most of them tot we we were japanese... which i tot was quite funny... and they didn't noe de existence of singapore..... haha..

of course.... there was always de usual funny stuff happening in de hotel...
lyk i received a stupid prank call frm dunno where and dunno who... seriously, i've asked arnd and i still dunno who it was...

i jus picked up de phone and there was dis guy mumbling sth which i couldn't make out wat it was....so i went.."huh?".... then tat guy repeated himself 4 quite a while.. but everytime he repeats himself, i jus went "huh?"... and when i ask who he was... the reply was..."your choir mate" and i'm lyk... "ok..." then he said sth lyk... "room 715".... then i went "huh?" again... then he hung up.... and throughout de conversation, there were ppl laughin in de background..... some of my frens suspected tat it was someone frm VS... since vs was on the 7th floor.... but i'm thinkin... why wld anyone be so lame and wu liao to call someone who is obviously not frm the same sch and obviously dunno.... lol...

yar... and we often run frm room to room... chatting and stuff... i must say tat my fav day in de entire trip was de competition day.... especially aft de results.... we were screaming and some of us were crying... we couldn't believe tat we actually got a 99 points gold!... we were all expecting a low gold or maybe a silver... tat moment was great... it went sth lyk..

the announcer:" anglican high school..." and.... SCREAM!!!!..... then we were lyk... wait.. wat did we get??... huh?... some of us heard a gold... others heard screams... i tink everyone was asking arnd... lyk those ppl who stood far away frm de screaming ppl... dan we realise we got GOLD!! with 99 points! and we were lyk.. OMG... rilly? rilly? are u serious?... and could here anqi:"rilly arh? dun bluff me leh..." haha... and de next thing we knew, SCREAM!!! and cry.... lol.. though we didn't top our category, i believe all of us were still very happy as we knew we did our best...
and our efforts had paid off.....

oh yes... and de very touching moment of all... we all formed a circle arnd mr toh and started singing Ubi caritas while moving in circles.....throughout de whole song, mr toh was crying... we saw tears rolled down his cheeks.. and he was busy covering his face... but mr tan and ms farah got those shots anyway.. haha... we also did our WILDCATS cheer and stuff... it was rilly cool...

oh yes... becuz hongzhe was de only one in the hotel room when de results were announced, we all decided to scam him.... haha.. it was so fun!! we all acted rilly emo.. and went up to his room...
the guys went in and revealed to him tat we got 71 points... a BRONZE!.... and when he came out of his room, all de girls were standing outside looking rilly sad.... some were even crying... i must say tat their acting was superb...haha.... we managed to scam him till dinner as planned...
mr toh started saying sth lyk "aceepting our achievements... and since we got 99/100, we shall accept it...." or sth lyk tat... and then he realised tat he got scammed... lol.. he couldn't believe tat de whole choir actually teamed up to scam him... even mr tan and mr toh were part of it... haha
it was rilly fun...

oh yar.. and aft tat, we took a tramp to dis place and had a nite party... it was super fun!! there were NTU ppl and some other caucasians.... and we all went dancing... it was lyk a disco party and me and anqi were dancing lyk crazy.... seriously, i haven't dance so much in my life.... and never had i dared to dance so freely.... it was exhausting but a great experience..... i seriously loved it.... i mean lyk.. c'mon! we're dancing and partying in olomouc, czech republic!!! how cool is tat??... lol...

i rilly enjoyed de trip... and i didn't felt lyk going home... especially aft all de fun i got and all de bonding... seriously... dis trip jus made me love choir even more... everything is so cool.... i tink maybe its becuz of de kind of ppl in choir.... i mean lyk.. we share de same interest... maybe tats why hanginng out wiz choirmates is so cool... haha...

anyway, i love olomouc!!... and dis trip is definitely worth remembering...
btw, i must say i was rilly lucky cuz i left my crystals in macdonalds and jus went shopping until 20 mins later... when i went back to macdonalds, it was still there, at de exact same spot... haha..
